S 50 godina iskustva, Oceanology International najveća je svjetska izložba i konferencija o oceanskoj tehnologiji, a održat će se u Londonu tokom tri dana – od 17. do 19. ožujka 2020. Sajam Oceanology International održava se u Londonu svake dvije godine i čvrsto se etablirao kao vodeća svjetska izložba i konferencija o pomorskoj znanosti i oceanskoj tehnologiji.
Oceanology International ove godine slavi 50 godina kao najveća svjetska izložba i konferencija o oceanima, a događaj se smatra obaveznim za sve one koji su uključeni u istraživanje, nadzor, razvoj ili zaštitu svjetskih oceana i svega oko njih.
Na ovom međunarodnom sajmu izlagači iz industrije, vladinih i istraživačkih institucija dijele svoje znanje i ovdje dolaze u kontakt s brojnim znanstvenicima koji dolaze iz područja oceanografije i oceanskog inženjerstva. Cilj sajma je poboljšati strategije, izmjeriti, istražiti i zaštititi svjetske oceane. To je jedan od najvećih sajmova ove vrste u svijetu, a uz izložbu je predviđena i informativna konferencija.
Osim spomenutog oceanografskog sajma u Londonu u svijetu se tijekom 2020. godine održava velik broj konferencija na temu mora i oceana čiji popis prema datumima donosimo u nastavku teksta:
