THE CORRUPTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Conservative personalities and political leaders from all over the world have gathered in Budapest over the last two weeks for two exceptional conferences. This was an opportunity to exchange views on the challenges and common actions to be taken in order to promote a harmonious society.
One of these conferences was held in the splendid Academy of Sciences in Budapest, at the invitation of the “Political Network for Values”: a network gathering hundreds of conservative Christian religious and political leaders, diplomats, NGOs and academics from Africa, Europe, and the Americas. They met under the theme “Freedom in Danger”. Grégor Puppinck, Director of the ECLJ, spoke about the process of “corruption of human rights” in the international bodies.

The other conference is the famous “CPAC”, the oldest and most important conservative gathering of American origin. It was held for the first time in Europe, at the invitation of the Hungarian government, around the theme “God, Country, Family”. The conference was introduced by Victor Orban who described the “12 measures” of his policy of national recovery. The conference was followed by numerous speakers, including Mr. Donald Trump.
